Since I have closed Skinvigo for in person services in March, the world has been a roller coaster.
While Vermont State has already allowed esthetic services to resume, I have decided to take it slow. As regulations are being lifted and businesses re-open I am still figuring out for myself what I am comfortable with whilst being out and about ...
In a time when stress, anxiety and exhaustion is a daily part of our lives, our skin takes a great toll. We need to be able to take care of it in a comfortable and safe environment. Join the mailing list for Skinvigo re-opening details.
Please know that the safety of my clients and the community will remain a priority once Skinvigo re-opens. Luckily, esthetics is an industry that is already regulated and needs to adhere to strict sanitation standards. I will layer additional measures on top of that. Here are some things that will change:
The liability waiver and client intake form are now available on www.skinvigo.com/where-to-go and need to be filled out ahead of your first service or if any changes have occured. Additionally, a Covid-19 informed consent form and liability waiver and the updated Skinvigo policies need to be signed before every service.
There will only be one client allowed at a time. All appointments need to be scheduled. Clients should wait on the SAC premises and I will bring them inside.
The client's temperature will be measured, and the client will be asked to wash and sanitize their hands. (As per state regulations, I will measure my temperature every day prior to a service.)
If a client shows symptoms of Covid-19, Skinvigo reserves the right to refuse service.
Services will be performed with PPE including face mask, face shield and gloves.
Verbal communication during the service will be limited. I will explain as much as possible ahead of the service.
Some services will be modified - currently there will be no use of a steamer. I am happy to customize services to your comfort level.
I have allowed additional time in between clients to sanitize surfaces such as door knobs. Please know, all equipment and materials that are used on a client are always sanitized in between clients, or are disposable.
The air conditioning at the Shelburne Athletic Club Wellness Center uses outside air that is not recirculated. All filters have been exchenged prior to the SAC's re-opening.
Please join the Mailing List to be informed on re-opening details, specials, events and more.

I am excited to welcome you back when you are ready.
In the meantime, please remember, to take care of your skin at home. I have added a lot of information on great products on Skinvigo's Website and will gladly deliver in the greater Shelburne area or arrange for curb-side pick up at the Shelburne Athletic Club.
Be well and stay safe,
Julie
